The alchemists' attempts to fuse flesh and rock were a success, resulting in compliant creatures that bored through the earth to mine precious gems. Driven by greed and pride, the alchemists refined their process to create ever-larger creatures that lived longer and tunneled deeper. Something went wrong with their greatest creation, which killed most of their order and disappeared into the mine. Will your party help the last alchemist destroy the monster?

If you accept the challenge, you'll battle multi-limbed rock creatures, vampire bats, a giant snake, and the alchemists' powerful rock monster. You'll also encounter a friendly giant who may be able to help destroy the monster.

Reviews

The Alchemists' Monster was a blast! We took a large party (five players) through the adventure in three sessions. Thank goodness for Thandur's help... (Naomi A.)

I'm new to Dragonbane, and this adventure made learning the system fun. The twists and surprises made the game really engaging. I'm ready for more! (Trevor)

Easy to install, well-written, simple to GM. How a DB module should be. ***** (AG)

I've never had more fun playing Dragonbane. Things progressed quickly, no boring slog. I guess it's a good sign that I was sad when we finished. (Jillian P.)

This adventure was a delight to play through. It had plenty of mystery and suspense, intriguing creatures and concepts, and a rewarding payoff. I liked the different possibilities for the ending, and appreciated the flexibility of the adventure. 10/10! (Emily)
